High up among the trees, this peaceful place gave us the perfect escape from everyday life. With nothing but the sound of the forest, the magnificent views and the gentle rhythm of nature, it was the ideal place to slow down and find our way back to calm.
Our unique stay at Klatrehytta
Our stay in the treehouse was everything we had hoped for, and more. Hidden in the Norwegian forest, it gave the perfect balance between comfort, nature and tranquillity.
The cabin was beautifully designed with warm wood details, large windows that brought nature inside, and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Waking up to birdsong, enjoying slow mornings with coffee above the forest and ending the day by the campfire gave a sense of peace that's hard to describe.
The surroundings invited you outside, whether we were exploring the nearby trails, taking in the views or simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere around the cabin. It felt like the perfect place to unwind from everyday life and reconnect with nature.
A magical experience
What I loved most was the incredible attention to detail in the furnishings. The quality of the materials, the thoughtful choices and the warm atmosphere made the treehouse both luxurious and deeply connected to the nature around it.
The outdoor fireplace quickly became one of our favourite spots. It created the perfect setting to slow down, enjoy cosy evenings and simply take in the peaceful surroundings.

Explore the area around the cabin
There's plenty to do around the cabin. Right next to the treehouse is a climbing park, perfect for both beginners and those looking for a bit of adventure, with the beautiful forest as a backdrop.
A gentle walk through the forest leads down to the water and is a must during the stay. It's a wonderful way to experience the nature around the cabin and soak up the peaceful atmosphere here.
And you have to stop at the little café Skafferiet down by the water. They serve home-baked goods, sandwiches and refreshing drinks, and the café has its very own little beach in the back garden.
